Insightful Creator #10 - Special Episode
This doesn't seem like the rest of them...
Read time: 5 minutes.
Welcome back, creators
This issue will be slightly different.
First off, I want to thank all of you - we have 100 Creators now on board!
The progress has been wonderful, and I am grateful that you are willing to listen to me.
As this is Tenth issue of Insightful Creator I thought that writing same, regurgitated content just wouldn't make it.
I want you to know me better - and that is why...
This issue will be around my hobbies
Yeah. I won't be going too much into difficult and endearing topics - we will start with something simple.
As a kid I was obsessed with astronomy, archeology, fantasy books and trading cards.
Like, ask me anytime - Seb what were you doing as a kid?
The answer each time would be either:
I'm watching that new cool dinosaur documentary I found
I'm rereading the same fantasy book I found a year ago again
I was an introvert, so over the years it came to me easily that managing my hobbies was crucial.
I haven't had many friends as a child/young teen so I poured most of my time into those.
Dinosaurs were my first obsession
Remeber this guy? No? That's Nigel Marven.
And this dude singehandedly made the best fictional live action dinosaur series ever.
Jurassic park? Don't know the guy-
I watched this for hours at a time. The sheer capability of old, wonky CGI and his storytelling talent made each episode extremely enjoyable.
I was around 6-7 years old when I started watching those. And let me tell you, I loved it.
Spent most of my day reading encyclopedia, various posts, texts and watching series with this guy starting main roles.
But then, even more things came...
Astronomy was next
We get to a turning point in the journey - got severly interested in astronomy.
"Cosmos" series with Carl Sagan staging the main role was my favorite.
I was fascinated with getting to know space.
Vast, empty ocean of stellar gasses and stars, breathtaking visuals even in the books... I wanted to explore the space as a kid.
I read various books, articles on space - learnt space on both interplanetary, interstellar, and intergalactical space.
I know about a dwarf planet of Gonggong, orbitting the Sun even further than Pluto does with an atmosphere of methane - and Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall, which is the biggest structure in the universe.
Wasn't interested in astrology at the time though - got interested in basic theory of zodiacs much later on.
I still keep up with both space and archeology related facts - I recommend reading on them yourself!
Fantasy books - time killer
Lord of the Rings and Dune.
Do I really need to say more? I've read countless other series too:
Maze Runner
Five Kingdoms
Harry Potter
Narnia
Game of Ender
Read also many various specific books, that you can only acquire here in Poland.
I remember going to various libraries with my mother as a 10y/o kid.
We got around 4 to 5 books - and I did read all of them in less than a week.
Could read anywhere from 200 to 700 pages daily. Reading for the entire day.
I grew up playing games on early Java phones, with various oldschool movies and books in a loving family. It was truly wonderful.
Expensive hobby...
I was collecting trading cards as a kid.
"Pokemon cards you mean?"
Sadly no... I wasn't that classy yet. I bought various soccer player cards... And drowned over $300 into these.
Is this much? No. But it's still weird.
However, I always dreamed of making my own card game. Even my own card sets.
I have been experimenting with Midjourney AI lately - if you don't know it allows you to generate images from your prompts.
Then, I got an idea - what if you managed to create your own card set - using AI?
These were the results:
If I ever fail at copywriting, you'll find me tinkering around making a card game and writing a book.
Current and new hobbies
I have been mostly into writing lately. But I've been pursuing these too:
Python coding
Japanese language
Nordic culture
Bodybuilding/calisthenics
Classical music
Ottoman history
I'm really interested in tons of things.
Nonetheless, I really want to know your hobbies!
If you came this far I would really appreciate to know more about you.

This issue really had a different vibe - I hope that you enjoyed nonetheless!
I'll see you in the next Issue of Insightful Creator - next week.
