Insightful Creator #4 - Leverage your Own Expertise
How to join the top 1% of creators - simplified.
Read time: 4 minutes.
Welcome back, creators.
Many of you wish to grow your personal brand, or maybe build an agency.
Sometimes it's just something even simpler than that - reaching good grades in school or becoming better at your job.
There is a thing - it's a long way to master any skill. No matter what it is.
The process is hard. Anyone telling you that it is not, bullshits you.
What you can do however, is to simplify it.
That is exactly on what we will focus on today.
Everyone is unique
The estimated amount of people who lived thorough the entire lifespan of humanity is astounding 108,000,000,000.
108 billion people.
Do you know what is even more shocking? Not even a single person was identical to one another.
No matter how similar two people might look, their mindset and personality could be like water and fire. Not even close to one another.
Thing is, that this will be your trump card. You do possess both a trait and an idea that noone else could have had before you.
But you haven't either discovered it yet, or made an use of it.
You need to make use of it. How?
Leverage your own weirdness
"Wait, hold up Seb. In the title you said expertise, what does that even mean?"
Allow me to explain.
Your unique traits (let it be incredibly fast ability to memorise stuff) could give you an upper hand if you were in a competition with others to learn some skill.
Every single person is weird in some way. No two words about it.
If you manage to master and control your newfound abilites you will become absolutely amazing at an area of life you focus on.
Your job is to find this singular trait and practice it.
Reforge traits into skills
When you finally realise what your strengths are, you are oblidged to use them.
Learn a skill for around 1-2 months.- Watch videos on it and take notes- Listen do podcasts on it- Read worthwhile books on it
But choose the exact way you go around it to optimise for your own special traits.
Think of it as getting a successful product sale which just skyrocketed.
Write a post on it, show how you did it and reap free followers to build your own personal brand.
The system remains the same.
Diffirence between a victory and a failure
Succeeding in something is not winning a single battle. It's being on a winning side of a war.
You are meant to hold your own stance for a long time.
It's not a sprint, it's a marathon.
You do not want to go all in and give up after a first small loss.
Here is a book that will introduce you to the concept of minimising your losses through hard work.
The 10x Rule
This one singular book explains in detail the value of respecting and optimising your work to achieve the best results.
The basic idea behind the 10x rule is that in order to achieve success, you must be willing to take massive, decisive action and aim for 10 times the results you desire.
The concept of the 10x rule is rooted in the belief that small, incremental steps are not enough to achieve significant results.
Instead, you must be willing to take bold, decisive action and aim for a level of success that is much greater than what you might initially consider attainable.
This requires a mindset of abundance and the belief that you are capable of achieving much more than you might think.
Incorporating its knowledge will let you avoid making mistakes and overall optimise your own workflow.
Morale of the story?
Leverage and productise yourself.
Many people look over the aspect of being unique.
Don't wait for the entirety of your life to achieve your goals.
Be extraordinare. Wish for more. Reach for more.
Strive towards your fullest potential.
Best of luck to you friends - and I will see you in the next one.
Sebastian, out.
