I've a question to you. Did you ever want to go viral?

Read time: 4 minutes.

Welcome back, creators

I've a question to you.

Did you ever want to go viral?

Or maybe you even tried. Maybe not.

Some people deem it to be the death of quality audience as well - and I want to tell you that this all...

...is a bunch of lies.

And I mean it - everything from:

  • Crappy strategies crafted by random guru

  • Smalltalk of small, stuck creators blaming virality

  • People who do not yet understand the power of it

Going viral is not bad - and I can speak from experience. I went viral several times - and it didn't hurt me. Moreover, I can replicate the process.

Again. And again. And again. How? Let me show you...

...the 3 ways to go viral - that nobody talks about.

Relatability

Alright. Cut your giveaways, growth threads, oneliner question tweets.

We're going to talk psychology - because I do know you well my friend.

You want a reliable strategy. Something that you can rely on. Something that works.

Something reliable - and relatable to your own.

Two different, yet connected words - and a key to actually grow fast. Why?

People want to associate themselves to something bringing them comfort and/or safety.

That's why most big brands, companies are growing entirely off this formula. Making themselves:

  • Relatable to their reader current position

  • Showing them most probable destined outcome

  • Being easily accessible to most of their readers

In short - they know and leverage the knowledge of their ICP. Example?

Planet Fitness.

Dumb? Not so much:

  • They target people who aren't hardcore into fitness

  • Make this easily accessible

  • Relatable to myths and most common knowledge about working out

  • They push away all of the hardcore fitness people, leaving only beginners remaining - that creates comfort of them for being on par with others

And let me tell you... They are making millions. And it's just a simple strategy used by a business - that you could incorporate into your own content:

  • Know their pain

  • Understand their goals

  • Follow them hand by hand on their journey

  • Make things relatable and safe for them to act upon

If you're into kinder and more secure approach - this is your best bet.

But if you want something more - and you're more of a fighter type...

Controversy

...this is your second best bet after relatability. And you know what?

This is by far the fastest way to grow. Especially because of Twitter algo.

Let me explain...

  • Twitter algorithm boosts posts more the more comment there already are on the post

  • Controversial content hurts peoples opinions, forcing them to contrattack

  • This sparks a discussion

  • Longer discussion=more comments

  • Post gets boosted even more, more people see this, more people get called out

  • Circle repeats

This might sound quite weird... And you might not believe me just yet.

Want proof? Fine, here's my example:

Andrew Tate.

Some of you are laughing, some of you are still thinking that it's a bad joke. It is not.

This man based his entire funnel out of 3 elements in 3 stages:

  • Controversy (Initial content buildup, he gains traction)

  • Callouts (Shows who's the enemy of himself + his fans)

  • Fight (Beating this enemys ideas, beliefs, builds and sells around this fight)

He fights what he deems as modern corruption - by showing men that he's the beacon of hope for them. He calls out people openly, often by hurting their feelings - many people even hate him for that.

Then he sells the solution to not join these esteemed 'wrong sided people' by HU, TRW and other communities - while taking advantage of accessibility (cheap) and relatability (showing simplicity and accountability aspect).

You think that doesn't work? What's collor is your Bu- ahkem.

Alright I'll stop. But you get the idea.

That's a solid way to build a monetize a brand. You'll make enemies, some, sure.

But people will remember you.

And at last...

Dopamine Hits

This one should compliment the previous two.

  • Share your victories

  • Show off your statistics

  • Definitely show your clients wins

  • Sometimes share motivation/transformation posts

Why?

Modern world sometimes gets so dark and uncanny that you just need to be shed a little light.

A little hope.

A little change.

A little dopamine hit.

Hopefully you get it. Apply it and prosper my friend.

Quick recap:

  • Be relatable

  • Use callouts and controversy

  • Give people dopamine hits
